I Love My Life....

Sooo I needed a break this late afternoon from the 10 x 10 for some fresh air, so I became 17 again and went for an hour and half drive (I used to do this a lot when I needed to get out of the house to clear my head)...Now I know in this economy with gas being sooo expensive it wasn't a smart idea...but, the warmth of the day, the sounds of summer (crickets and frogs) I heard and driving to try and see a family friend in the town (Fowlerville) that reminds me sooo much of my second hometown in Seaforth, Canada...I had never taken the grand river way into town only the freeway, and it was awesome...the farm land, the small town community, it truly was like being in Seaforth... Ahhh turned out to be a goood day :0) I Love my life :0)

No One Can Be Perfect In The Eyes of GOD....

I am a Christian through and through, but it has always been my nature to open my heart to other religions.  I always believe that no matter what we believe individually, we all pray to the same GOD. Some religions use symbols to get through to GOD, some religions use saints.. Each person has a right to believe their own belief and I thought this Islamic Tradition shows that even though my belief system might be different than the Islamic, the basic morals and virtues are the same.

During his pilgrimage to Mecca, a holy man began to feel the presence of God. In the midst of a trance he knelt down, hid his face and prayed:“Lord, I ask for only one thing in life: that I be given the grace of never offending you.”“I cannot grant you that grace,” answered the Almighty. ‘If you don’t offend me I shall have no reason to pardon you. ” If I have no need to pardon you, soon you will also forget the importance of mercy towards others. “So go on your way with Love and let me grant pardon now and again so that you don’t forget that virtue as well.”~Paulo Coelho Blog Post Feb 3rd, 2011
